How do I add a card?
Tap the + button on the Gift Cards or Loyalty tab. You can scan the card’s barcode or QR code with your camera, snap a photo of the card, or type the number in by hand. Add the merchant name, balance, and PIN if you have one, then save.
How do I scan a card at checkout?
Open the card and tap it to show the barcode full-screen. Hold your phone up to the scanner at the register — the enlarged, high-contrast barcode is designed to scan on the first try.
How does balance tracking work?
Balances are values you enter and update yourself as you spend. They’re a convenient estimate, not a live figure from the merchant — always verify a card’s balance with the merchant before relying on it.
Where is my data stored?
Your cards are stored on your device. You can add an optional Face ID or Touch ID lock so only you can open the app. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.
How do I turn on Face ID or Touch ID?
Open Settings (the gear icon in the top-right of each tab) and turn on the biometric lock. You can change this at any time.
How do I back up or restore my cards?
In Settings, use Back Up to save a backup file, and Restore to load one. You choose where the backup is saved. If you protect it with a passphrase, keep that passphrase somewhere safe — it can’t be recovered if you forget it.
I got a new phone — how do I move my cards?
Create a backup on your old phone, transfer the backup file to your new phone, and use Restore. Because your cards live on your device, a backup is the way to move them.
The camera won’t scan a barcode. What can I do?
Make sure the app has camera permission (in your device Settings), clean the camera lens, and hold the card steady in good lighting. You can always add the card manually by typing its number instead.
How do I delete a card or the app?
Open a card and choose Delete to remove it. To remove everything, delete the app from your device — since your data is stored locally, uninstalling removes it. Back up first if you want to keep your cards.
